Position: Senior Business Development Officer,

Job Level 5: Job Ref Hr Sbdo -5-2020

Reports to: Assistant Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Bureau ‘s corporate strategy development and its subsequent monitoring and evaluation for decision making.

  • Conduct the Annual Strategy Review including preparation of the mid-term review and periodical and special updates and reports for decision.

  • Develop planning and strategy documents.

  • Design, coordinate and implement monitoring and evaluation systems.

  • Develop baseline data for decision.

  • Ensure the quality monitoring and evaluation of related data to be collected throughout the strategic plan.

  • Manage stakeholder strategic partnerships and engagements for revenue generation.

  • Achieve set sales revenue targets to improve the bottom Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.

  • Identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers and products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Social sciences or its.

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management.

  • Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Business Management, Social sciences or its equivalent.

  • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant work experience with at least four (4) years at a senior management/leadership.

  • Member of a relevant professional organisation.

  • Good Problem  solving, analytical, leadership, decision making, integrity,  good communication, organisation and planning A good team player, maintains high work standards, reliable, easily adapts to new environments, pays attention to detail and self-motivated
