Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, JKIA – 1 Position Moi International Airport, MIA – 1 Position
Job Purpose: The Graduate Engineer is involved in assisting electrical engineer on engineering design, project costing, tender documentation, tendering processes, project management and construction supervision as well as oversee maintenance of airport infrastructure.
Employment Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Main Responsibilities: a) Assists project managers in preparation of communications and electronics engineering facilities’ status reports and action programs to sustain I upgrade service standards; b) Liaises with legal department in preparation and execution of contracts; c) Prepares specifications, bills of quantities and estimates for tendering of communications and electronics works; d) Prepares tender documents and liaise with Procurement & Logistics Department to ensure project implementation as per Procurement and Work Plans; e) Prepares and maintains project status reports; and f) Liaises with relevant stakeholders in project implementation to minimize business interruption during supervision services.
Minimum Knowledge, Qualification, Skill and Experience required for these positions a) Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering. b) Graduate Membership to Engineers Board of Kenya / Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) c) At least 1 year post-qualification experience
